The New Pythagoreans Math Competition
General Rules
The only aids that are permitted are pencils, pens, erasers, rulers, protractors and compasses. Scratch paper may also be used, but all scratch paper is to be provided by the proctors
Students must legibly print their name and code on each page. After the contests each student will receive only the first page and all other pages with solutions and scratch papers will be checked, scanned and e-mailed to the parent’s attention up to 2 weeks after the competition.
All solutions and answers must be written legibly.
We will send your solutions and results by email.
Annual Math Contest “The New Pythagoreans”
Our math contest is for all students from Grade 1 to Grade 12. It is our pleasure to have so many gifted students at our Contest.
We wish for our winners to receive their awards in the form of financial support to ensure extended educational opportunities.
In the past years, our winners were delighted with awards such as recorded math lessons from our Math School, School4Math.
We would like to introduce a General Sponsorship for a financial award. The Sponsor(s) will personally write cheques for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, as well as in the categories of “Best mark” and “Greatest solution”.
